Bubble wrap comes in two types: one made from new materials and the other from recycled materials. The foam, also as polystyrene foam (not environmentally friendly), has been prohibited for export in our country since 1998. Therefore, EPE (Expandedethylene) foam is a substitute for foam and is recognized as a new type of eco-friendly packaging material both domestically and internationally. EPE foam is a non-cross closed-cell structure made from low-density polyethylene resin, which is physically foamed to create numerous independent bubbles. It overcomes the drawbacks of ordinary foam, such brittleness, deformation, and poor recovery. Bubble wrap is made primarily from high-pressure polyethylene, with additives such as whitening agents and opening agents, is extruded and shaped into bubbles at a high temperature of around 230 degrees. It is a new type of plastic packaging material that is lightweight,, non-toxic, and tasteless. It can provide moisture protection, cushioning, and insulation for products. Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) boards also known as foam boards, are made from expandable polystyrene beads containing volatile liquid foaming agents. These beads are pre-expanded by heating and then heated in a mold to form a white object with a fine closed-cell structure. EPS boards are mainly used in building walls, roof insulation, composite board insulation, cold storage, air conditioning, vehicle and ship insulation, floor heating, and decorative carving, among other applications. EPE foam is a non-crosslinked closed-cell structure, also known as EPE foam, which is a new type of eco-friendly packaging material. It is made from low-density polyethylene resin, which is physically foamed to numerous independent bubbles. It overcomes the drawbacks of ordinary foam, such as brittleness, deformation, and poor recovery. It has excellent water resistance, moisture, shock resistance, sound insulation, and insulation, as well as good formability, strong resilience, recyclability, environmental friendliness, and strong impact resistance. It also has good chemical resistance and is an ideal substitute for traditional packaging materials.
